Esme turned around to see Knuckles, acompanied by a blue hedgehog. The blue hedgehog stopped her, while Knuckles ran to catch up to him. "Who're you and what are you doin here?" Esme frowned. "Ask him! He knows!" She pointed at Knuckles. He nodded and explained who she was. "Okay, but why are you on this ship?" "Because I have assingned myself to protect the Cosmo girl, after I saved her life and the lifes of three others by re-directing her ship." The blue creature processed this, then he spoke again. "Okay then. My names Sonic. Come with us." She followed obediently as Knuckles and Sonic led her to the bridge. She saw the girl Cosmo, along with her rabbit friend, the pink girl, an earth boy that reminded her of Lucian and... . Esme gasped as she saw a young orange boy fox, with two tails and he was driving the craft apparently. "Tails, get down here real quick!" called Knuckles. He pressed a button and slid down, standing next to her. Knuckles smiled and gestured to the two of them. "See? What did I tell ya?" She turned to see that Tails was looking at her, with widened eyes. "Okay, so you are the mortal boy who also captures my appearece. Father told me I had a twin brother, but I never believed him." Sonic nodded understandingly. Esme smiled at him. "Sonic, if I have to leave your ship, I will, but I would like you to consider me joining your crew. I would appriciate it-" "Why're you asking?
